1 Peter 3:15
During my devotionals today, the words written in the book of 1 Peter 3:15 made me think about the importance of being gentle and respectful when sharing the gospel with others. What struck me most is that these words were written by Peter, the disciple with the fieriest temper. Peter’s words are full of wisdom and can be apply to us today. Going on a mission trip to a country where the culture and customs are different from our own, can easily create fear and fear can make people do or say things that in a safe and secure environment they won’t say. So, in preparation for our team, I pray that each one of us remember that to Honor God we don’t need to act disrespectful to others just because we don’t understand or can’t comprehend other people life experiences. Please let's keep praying together so that in all we do and say God enables us to demonstrate HIS unconditional love for everyone.
